Berni at Home
Berni is married to Gerry, and is the mother of two grown children, Cathy and Ken. She is also a proud grandmother of two grandsons, Rory and Eric.
Berni is a retired nurse who stays active in the community, serving on many boards and committees.
Not only is Berni an artist but she also writes a weekly column for the Cape Breton Post called "Over the Road". http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v678/Cybercatty/col_244_10Feb06.jpg
Her column has the same warmth as her paintings with that down home flavour. Reading Berni’s column is like sitting at her kitchen table sharing a cup of tea and the local news.
Berni is also a great cat lover and dotes on her orange cats Mykie, Munch and Picatso.
